The Results of Rivalry Between the Superpowers

Separated by a vast ocean are the Osean Federation and Union of Yuktobanian Republics. Over the years these two superpowers have constantly regarded eachother as a potential enemy and competed for dominance in global influence and arms expansion. Symbolizing this tension is the nuclear arms race, as well as strategies that led to the development of ICBMs and the SDI, all of which having brought great tension to the world.

After the last great war, the two countries went on the path of improving diplomatic relations with economic activities and cultural exchange being the primary focuses. However, due to ideological differences, social movements within and conflicts between the two nations' allies have not disappeared. The establishment of a new world order for this era is needed.

​大海を隔てて相対するオーシア連邦とユークトバニア連邦共和国。 この二つの超大国は長年の間、常に互いを「仮想敵国」と想定し、 世界規模の勢力拡大と軍備拡張を競い合ってきた。 その象徴的な存在として核兵器開発競争が挙げられ、大陸間弾道弾や SDI等にまで発展した戦略の構造は、全世界に巨大な緊張をもたらす事となった。

​ 先の大戦以後、両国は経済活動及び文化的交流を柱とした国交改善の道を進める。 しかしイデオロギーの相違から市民運動や同盟国間の紛争が絶えず、 新時代の世界秩序構築が求められている。
